Dr Cecilia Busari, a psychiatrist and mental health researcher, is offering a tailored programme aimed at research and academic colleagues who are interested in equipping themselves with wellbeing skills and tools to enable them to reduce stress, improve wellbeing and strengthen healthy performance to mitigate mental illness for better career success.

Participants will be invited to an initial programme introduction, which will then be followed by three sessions focused on developing wellbeing knowledge and skills. These will be delivered online via zoom in four sessions in June and July.

Programme dates

6 June, 20 June, 4 July, and 18 July 2025. Each session takes place between 10-11.30am.

Who is running the programme?

Dr Cecilia Busari is a psychiatrist with extensive clinical and research experience who has been involved in training workshops for practitioners, peer reviewed publications and co-authored reports for NHS Trusts and charity organisations on mental health issues.  Cecilia is also a Lecturer and Doctoral candidate at Leeds Beckett University whose research focuses on child and adolescent mental health.

Who is the programme designed for?

In recent times, emerging evidence has shown that there is an increasing rate of poor wellbeing in postgraduate researchers (PGRs) which has a substantial impact on life satisfaction and career development.

What will the programme cover?

This practical and interactive programme will be delivered online via Zoom. There are no assignments/assessments as part of the programme.
