Find funding for mental health research
Researchers apply for fellowships and research grants to support mental health research studies, and there are lots of different options depending on your career stage and experience. Fellowships support an individual researcher's development, whereas grants support individual studies. The research councils offer largescale funding opportunities.
"There is no equivalent of CRUK or BHF for mental health. But smaller mental health charities do make calls from time to time so it's a good idea to sign up to their newsletters, and follow them on Twitter"
- Vanessa Pinfold, Chair of Alliance of Mental Health Research Funders
