Wellcome Trust is seeking a individual or organisation who could undertake desk-based research and stakeholder interviews or workshops to scope the landscape relevant to common definitions in mental health science. This is really important work that would give much needed clarity for researchers and practitioners in the wide-ranging mental health field, so do take a look at the Request for Proposal (RFP) document in the Wellcome Trust website link below.
Definitions include terms such as ‘first episode’, ‘clinical recovery’ and ‘treatment resistance’. While consensus criteria exist for some of these definitions, as many mental health researchers know, they are not easy to find and reference. Moreover, the global applicability of these definitions is unclear.
Key dates and deadlines: 13 November 2023 is the deadline for Expressions of Interest (EOI) and questions, and 1 December 2023 is the deadline for submission of full proposals.
