The Wellcome Trust has issued a call for applicants to the Mental Health Award. The award will fund research into the field of stratification in anxiety and/or depression. This opportunity is suitable for a multidisciplinary team with postgraduate research experience.
Studies funded through the Mental Health Award will further validate biological, psychosocial, social, and digital markers for stratification, with an aim to enable early identification of sub-groups and enact targeted treatment for anxiety and/or depression.

Funding: Up to £5 million over a maximum of 5 years
Applicants and co-applicants should be able to commit at least 20% of their research time to the project and be attached to a suitable host institution or institutions, such as a university, research institute, healthcare organisation, or commercial organisation that fulfils Wellcome’s grant conditions.
