Wellcome Early Career Awards
Opportunity: Research Funding of up to five years.
Who's it for: researchers from any discipline – including science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), experimental medicine, humanities and social science, clinical/allied health sciences, and public health – as long as it has the potential to improve human life, health and wellbeing.

Midlands Mental Health and Neurosciences PhD Programme for Healthcare Professionals
Opportunity: PhD Funding - Funding for a 3 year PhD, including salary at current level, fees, research costs, training and travel. Also allows some clinical time to maintain skills. You can chose to be based at University of Warwick, Birmingham, Leicester or Nottingham.
Who's it for: Healthcare professionals who wish to combine a role in clinical practice with an academic one focused on mental health and/or neuroscience.
