The HEE/NIHR ICA Pre-doctoral Clinical Academic Fellowship (PCAF) supports health and social care practitioners (excluding doctors and dentists) to develop a competitive doctoral fellowship application.

The award funds a bespoke training and development programme and salary costs for the time undertaking this training. It is open to early career researchers committed to a clinical academic career.

This one hour webinar will provide advice and support to help you develop a competitive PCAF application.

The webinar will be hosted by Dr Beth Harris, PCAF Scheme Manager, who will be joined by Professor Jon Marsden, Chair of the PCAF Selection Committee. Jon will provide an overview of the scheme, explain what the Selection Committee assesses in an application and offer tips for putting your application together.

You will also hear from Adam Galloway who completed his PCAF award and is now a HEE/NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow. He will talk about his career journey and offer first-hand tips and advice from his experience.
