The Harkness Fellowship is an opportunity for mid-career professionals to spend a fully funded year in the United States conducting internationally comparative research, honing leadership skills, and building a robust network for ongoing exchange and collaboration. UK mental health researchers have won this fellowship in previous years and recommend the scheme.

  • For prospective applicants from Europe (Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and the UK): May 10th at 6:00 pm BST / 7:00 pm CEST
  • For prospective applicants from France: May 11th at 6:00 pm CEST
  • For prospective applicants from Canada: May 17th at 6:00 pm ET
  • For prospective applicants from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore: May 18th at 9:00 am SGT / 11:00 am AEST / 1:00 pm NZST

Register here to attend for all countries.

Each information session will include an overview of the program from Commonwealth Fund Staff and reflections from Harkness Senior Fellows (alumni) on the fellowship experience and how it has impacted their careers.
