Career development funding awards from the Three NIHR Schools Mental Health Programme are open now to apply for until 15 November 2024. Proposals of up to £30,000 are invited and if successful, you’ll become a member of one of the NIHR Schools, and have a personalised training and development opportunities related to that. It’s a fantastic career development opportunity!
They are particularly interested in applications from health and care professionals working in mental health but without a strong track record of mental health research (including but not limited to social work, nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, public health practitioners, housing providers, care home managers, paramedics) and methodologists (including social scientists, statisticians, economists and evidence synthesis experts) wishing to develop research careers.
Applications must be linked to one of the three NIHR Schools. Each School is comprised of different member institutions – please see below for details:
NIHR School for Primary Care Research (SPCR) member institutions
NIHR School for Public Health Research (SPHR) member institutions
NIHR School for Social Care Research (SSCR) member institutions
