Top tips for your next mental health research funding application

no comments

Our GROW programme participants loved Dr Rachael Kelley’s tips on putting together a great funding application for mental health research so we’re really happy to be able to share Rachael’s valuable experience and advice on putting together a great research funding application with the wider community of mental health researchers.

In this 16 minute presentation, jam-packed with advice and insight from an experienced mental health researcher who has sat on many funding decision panels before, Rachael offers wise words on what’s most important to consider when applying, why small grants are definitely worth it, how to organise your time and the wider context of funders’ priorities in mental health.

If you have faced disappointment in recent funding applications (and we all have by the way!), Rachael’s presentation will leave you encouraged to keep going. It’s well worth a watch we say!

Rachael will be chairing the upcoming Mental Health Research Incubator webinar on Building your postdoc career in mental health on Tuesday 5 September, 12.30-1.30pm. Do save the date. A webinar registration link will be available soon.
